Enter the Labyrinth

Seoul must be one of the very largest cities in the world, and yet despite its size, it's easy enough to get around on public transport. From a bird's eye view, the city has a peculiar chaotic order all of its own, embracing its inhabitants. This photo was taken from my 9th floor apartment looking down on the traditional village roofs one winter morning. This "village" will be demolished within months to make way for yet more sleek, modern, sterile apartment complexes.
